Heat embossing provides a dimensional, raised effect to patterns or designs with the use of high temperature. Horton Kirby Poland has purchased a state-of-the-art embossing machine, which can emboss patterns and designs in the maximum dimensions of: 48 cm x 65 cm. This technique uses foils in various colours. First, foil is stamped with a pattern and then glued to the embossed material. The entire process is conducted using heat, which allows to achieve very precise graphic effects. In the embossing process, multi-use matrices made on Customer’s design are applied. The technique definitely gives an attractive look and 3D effect to book covers, as well as adds a decorative element to file binders, display stands and other elegant packaging.
